Thank you Chander for providing such an amazing experience!! Brilliant service. The driver is a great guy, very professional and it was a perfect way to see the country.

We were amazed to have seen and done so much in the time we had, in such a relaxed manner; and made plenty of friends on the way.

We had a great time and instantly felt comfortable with the driver. He knows all the great sites and can take you off the beaten track to places that are not on the regular tourist route.

Karen also lost her passport and the driver was fantastic, taking us to the police station and reporting the theft, then taking us to the consulate when we got back to Delhi.

He went above and beyond the call of duty. We would have been lost without him and would recommend him to anyone.

It was one of my best trip of my life, I stayed 2 weeks in India with the very professional driver. We toured through different parts of Rajasthan in good and cheap hotels and visited a lot of beautiful things, castles, parks and cities.

Raju is far a great driver but not just a driver, he knows the history of India well and he explained a lot to me and he is all the time happy and open for speaking about everything.

He will always stay in my heart. We have travelled around Rajasthan, Delhi and Agra with a tour organized by pearl India tours, it was a really wonderfull trip, the driver is a nice person, very gentle, very professional and very kind.

We are glad to make this travel , he organised all the trip, destination, hotels, palaces, temples and museums to see, my wife and I spend a really amazing moment.

They gave us good advices, found beautiful heritage hotels and took care of us in each moment. We highly recommend his services.

I would strongly recommend pearl India tours to anyone. My thanks for the very good care you took of us, especially me when I was not well.

Dear Rakesh, my time in India will be an unforgettable one. In this regard, Chinese naval strategy is consistent with the interests of India and its Western allies.

Chinese state-owned companies are also responsible for the construction of a railway link between Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, and Port Sudan, the country's major port on the Red Sea.

Chinese operations in Port Sudan are substantial, but limited completely to the oil export [29] [30]. China views its own actions in an entirely different light; namely, as their efforts to strengthen a new maritime Silk Road.

China's growing economic investments have increased their concerns about the political stability of the countries they are investing in.

In , the Indian Navy published the "Indian Maritime Doctrine", a document outlining prospective Indian naval strategies.

It describes ambitions for an active Indian naval presence from the Strait of Hormuz to the Strait of Malacca. Furthermore, the doctrine makes explicit mention of the need to police international shipping lanes and control choke points of Indian Ocean trade in particular.

The Indian government has, with the same intentions, hosted negotiations with Mauritania regarding the construction of an airstrip for Indian surveillance aircraft, as well as organised the construction of radar stations in the Maldives.

In , the Indian government further announced that it would fund a deep-water port in Sittwe, Burma ; set to be functional by June , with an additional highway connecting the port to India to be completed by The construction of the Sittwe port is often cited as evidence of a concerted strategy on the part of India to counterbalance growing Chinese influence in Southeast Asia.

Like China, India is heavily dependent on foreign oil producers for its energy needs. The protection of the major sea lines of communication is therefore recognised as an economic imperative.

Most notable among these is Operation Island Watch, the effort to patrol India's western seaboard against Somali pirates. A number of these counter-terrorism and anti-piracy efforts have been conducted in co-ordination with American forces, though Indian officials have traditionally restricted joint military exercises to common interest initiatives, often those under UN sanction.

For US military officials and strategists, this growing bilateral relationship is widely seen as an opportunity to counterbalance threats of Chinese regional hegemony.

Efforts for bilateral co-operation against rising Chinese power are bolstered by popular fears that China's expanded presence in the Indian Ocean threatens India's economic and military security.

This strategy is especially to counter the string of pearls and New Silk route. Necklace of Diamonds includes the development of naval bases, air corridor, boasting multilateral trade.

The US Navy has unparalleled power projection capabilities and operational strength, and is the major naval force in the waters of South and Southeast Asia.

China's renewed assertiveness in the South China Sea is of particular concern to US officials, who see China's rise as a threat to the United States' role as a "provider of regional and global stability".

The " Pivot to Asia " strategy of the Obama Administration is designed to engage China by consolidating and expanding diplomatic and economic relationships with existing regional partners, particularly in East Asia and Southeast Asia.

Japanese apprehensions regarding the development of an interconnected system of Chinese military and commercial ports centers primarily on the protection of trading interests.

It was considered to be the indication of richness of the kingdom. The origin of pearl is not known to us however Chinese records show that pearl was known to them as far back as B.

Pearl is of animal origin and is obtained from Pearl oyster belonging to phylum mollusca. But the actual nature and mode of formation of pearl inside the oyster has now been explained scientifically.

Pearl culture which is not a very old venture is restricted to certain parts of the world only. It includes the culture of oysters in restricted areas and after attaining a particular size and treated specially with the help of scientific equipments and appliances to produce pearl.

The pearl oyster belongs to genus Pinctada, family pteriidae, and class bivalvia and phylum mollusca. The important species producing good quality of pearl are Pinctada vulgaris schumachar , Pinctada marigavitifera Linn , Pinctada chemnitzi Philippi , Pinctada anamioides Reeve and Pinctada alropurpurea Dunker.

All these species are Marine and it is the marine forms which produce the pearl of fine quality. The pearls afe translucent with colours varying among white, light pink or yellow.

Placenta placenta, commonly known as windowpane oyster, produces seed pearls of minute size. They are not considered as gems but are used for medicinal purposes.

Sea mussels such as Mytilus edulis. Pern a viridis and P. Tridacna, the giant clam, produces occasionally large sized pearls, as big as a golf ball.

The species common to this area is Pinctada fucata. These paars are located in line, parallel to and at a distance of nautical miles from land.

Among these 72 beds, quite a large number of them have not yielded any fisheries at any time. In general, the pearl fisheries at Tholayuram paar, Kodamuthu group and Karuwal group have been relatively consistent in the production of pearl than the others.

Another pearl fishery is situated in the Palk Bay off Toudi, which economically is not a successful fishery as the oysters are of inferior quality than those of Gulf of Mannar.

The intertidal area of the Gulf of Kutch, borders the coastline of Jamnagar District and covers a total area of about 24, ha, from Sachana in the east to Ajad in the west Fig.

Pearl oysters of the species Pinctada fucata is found here. The third form of vaterite crystals has not been reported in the pearl oyster. Good quality pearls are determined by their lustre and colour.
